| who restores "vintage" radios? i have a 70's kraco am/fm/cassette with a CB (!!!) that fits my thing perfectly...now if i could just get it in working order. not getting any leads with the ol' google search...anyone? |

suggest you go to the memberlist under the forums and look up
"destefun", he is the resident expert on vintage radios. He may be able to point you in the right direction if he can't help.
Another info source might be HEMMINGS MOTOR NEWs. Their classifieds
have ad's from vintage radio repair shops. |

Larry at Ray's Auto Stereo in Sacramento, CA is awesome............ just got my 1964 Shaub Lorenz radio back from him, and he did an incredible job in making this work (and this radio is a complete pain to work on!).

Richard Langenwalter recaped and converted my 6v sapphire III to a 12v unit and it came out very good. He's here on TheSamba and you can reach him at VWRadio@hotmail.com
He may only do sapphires, so you will have to ask. |
