Does anybody know were I can get one of these. It is from the 60's it had motorcycles and cars that went around in a circle. They had a dune buggy with a top and without, It had lights all around the body that flashed. Sorry I do not have a pic. I can't seem to find one on the web.
Any info would be helpful.

I definitely remember riding on several of those in the midwest in the late 60's as a tyke. This was in lower Michigan. If I see anything I will let you know.

Man you're a couple of years to late. The Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City Beach, Florida went out of business a couple years ago and they sold theirs along with all the other rides.

BL3Manx, Looking for the vintage style. That one looks to be made current. Looking for the one made in the 50's or 60's range.
Thanks for the info

You mean 60s or 70s range?

Hot Air Fri Mar 12, 2010 12:08 pm

correct

Those bottom couple of pics are just like the one from Miracle Strip. I recall it had a couple of dune buggies, a couple of mini-bikes, at least 1 six wheel atv type thing and I don't recall what else.

Hot Air,
Sorry, don't know where you can get one, but I do have a picture of my son (he's 29 now) in one years ago:

Now he drives this:

I know I went off subject, but the timing seem right...a before and now photos.

The ride you are talking about is a Hampton Umbrella ride. I've looked for that same buggy. There was just a go kart size dunebuggy in the classified's last week.

Really? Where?

They're down at the end of the Boardwalk next to the river. The bottom of the 3 pictures above was taken at Santa Cruz. You can see the houses on the bluff across the river in the background.

That's funny. Been here since 1982 and never noticed them down there. I saw a kiddie ride and that's all. Cool shots.
