Never said anything about idiots. Just that I could count on one hand how many Ovals are within a 500 mile radius of my house in PA. So Yes, somebody here in the RUST state of PA would buy that car for that price.

I live in PA, and I assure you, there are probably more ovals in a 500 mile radius of your house in PA, than idiots that would pay that price for that car.

Whatever....Guess we will have to dissagree then. I know for a fact that its much easier to find old vw's in other states.

Reminds me of a rusted out '57 sunroof some guy an hour from here was asking $1000 for a few years back. It had 4x4 fence posts for rockers and plywood floors :lol: It had rust in places I didn't even know there were.

I hunt down old vw's the same way I fish, I catch and release unless it's a whopper. The thrill of the chase is the fun part, once you catch an old vw the work and expense begins. I'll keep an eye on her and hope the owner lowers his price before she completely rust away.
