Howdy,
Any of you guys have an idea how to remove the trip speedo knob? I've already unscrewed the set screw, but it's not pulling out. I don't want to damage it so, if any of you guys have an idea, please let me know.

Try drop some penetrating oil down between the knob & reset shaft.
I had the same problem on one of my speedometers. I used a combination of chain oil & Goo Gone. After a few weeks, I was able to pull it off exerting about 20lbs of pull. Don't know how it happened, but there was some sort of gummy crap in there. |

I'll give the penetrating oil a shot. I'm just afraid if I pull too hard I may damage the shaft.
