Do you need to run tins on the motor if its air cooled in a rail buggy?

You need to run the cylinder tins, which connect to the fan shroud, and the splitter tins on the bottom, they are located on the bottom side at the separation between the cylinders, the rest of the tins are just sealer tins to enclose the engine compartment when you have a body. The tins that run from front to back on the bottom side of the cylinders can also be jettisoned.

Those cylinder tins that run front to back, under the cylinders, also protect the push-rod tubes.
