I picked up the below rail today. This is my first rail as well as my first VW powered vehicle. Just out of curiosity I was wondering if there were any way to determine the manufacturer of the rail?

| It could be a Lithia Automotive and fiberglass rail. They made several differnt styles when the were still in the V-Dub biz. |

| Here in California it was called a Fugitive built by Jim's buggy and trailer supply. BugPack bought the rights and also sold them as a kit and welded together frame. |
