I have dual weber 40's with the hex linkage. I thought the car was pretty fast. This is my first VW. My neighboor said he thought it was a turn for a 1915cc.

Motor has CB performance 044 heads, pauter rocker arms a engle 120cam etc...

On my fiberglass buggy I reach in and touch {lightly} the header tubes where they come out close to the head when you first start a cold motor. The one that isnt firing will be noticeably cooler than the others. As the engine warms up it wont be nessary to touch the tubes anymore just get close with your hand you'll feel the diference. Be careful not to touch the tubes after it has warmed up. Mine are ceramic coated and they get hot fast !
