This is the goal for me. I've seen them on bugs but never on a karmann ghia. As anyone had any experience with these? I know they typically wider wheels...and the smallest I've seen so far are 16s. So would this force me to get shorter axels for the rear and a narrow beam for the front? Any insight would be great.
Here is a idea

They would be different. Depending upon how much you wanted to do them, you could have some narrowed.

The smaller diameter web wheels look dated IMO. You shouldnt have too much trouble finding a set of 17x7s which will fit fine.

Never been a big fan because just look too hard to clean.

Really? No one likes it? I just hate having the 4x130 pattern bc there isn't any wheels that I love. If I decided to switch to 5x130 I wanna make it worth it.

I had these on my Ghia for years, until I sold them this year:

They're made by Enkei and fit inside the wheel wells just fine. |
