thank you, i took the family out for a drive yesterday and the rear started making a really loud vibrating noise and was felt throughout the car, I turned right around and headed back home to find a loose axle nut which caused the rotor( rear discs) to wear out it splines and have a lot of side to side movement, so i ordered a new rotor from car craft and should be back on the road tomorrow, it also got a new parking buddy a 53 3fold

so took the fasty to a vw car show today and the classes were the usual best type 1-3 first and second place, their was many type 3s in attendance, their was a really nice 69 square their which i thought should have won 1st place, and had wishful thinking i might get 2nd, no biggie, but the guy who won 1st place was not a type 3, it was a regular 64 karmann ghia, i was like wtf, doesnt the owner of the ghia know its not a type 3, i guess it also didnt help they had girls judge the show

I'm going to say no since Ghia people post their cars in the "Type 3 - Ghia" category in the Samba Gallery all the time and I have to move them.

That sucks...

Inspiring stuff.

I got a ride in that car in Modesto back when it was first painted.
It had no snubbers, and the spring plates slammed the stops so hard it shook the adaptors loose from the wheels when we were out.

It has come a long, long way since then.
Glad to see it going to owners who give it the love it deserves.

Those Fuchs look far better.
Fastbacks were just made for them, it seems...

The color is what will kill the sale, just like last time.
