| Man you're right about that. I didn't want square boss because of all the other stuff I would've had to do to make 'em work. Looks like I might as well of gotten 'em. I guess I'll need to do a bit more reading. Thanks for the replies Dan. |

Ahhhh, don't give up- those are great heads.
I lucked out as the upgrade had been done to my Beetle in '65 at the VW dealership, according to the receipts that came with the car.
It's a pain, but you're almost there...you'll find them ol' pushrods. |

| I did some reading and I need the longer pushrods. Bently says I can't use my rocker arms with the longer push rods. In another thread Joey is switching from round to square boss and is using rocker arms from a 1600. Will this set up work for me as well?? |
