I have a what appeares as a Wide Eye Baja kit but the frunt fenders dont mach the conture of my pre 67 bug any ideas? did they make pre 1967 and then post body kits?

There is only two basic body types for the kits to fit, Standard Beetles and then Super Beetles. Of the two styles of VW kits, the Standard Beetle has two kits, the wide eye and the bug eye. The Super Beetle only has the wide eye style of kits.
The fenders do not fit directly on the contour of the beetle body, the front portion needs the nose on to fit properly. The nose actually makes the front width wider and then the fenders fit the new contour. |
