This is one of the "backgrounds" in the archives section. Anyone know if this is a real place, and if so where, or is it just an adman's fantasy?

Mediterranean coastline. It is probably an admans fantisy, but that is what is looks like.

The harbor is too clean.

i'd say a river too, although it might be a lake. i don't see it as med or any other salty seaside.

I agree....check out the church steeple in both photos. Different angle, but they appear to be the same.

fact is there are so many little dorfs, burgs, and villages just like that along the rhine its hard to tell! :lol:

Admans fantasy my ass...thats my old lady back in the day pulling up the coastline drive to the Pan Castle...chucked it all and moved stateside...whatta mistake that was...

Could be in a lot of places in Europe but sure looks like Lake Garda in Italy.
The low peak on the clocktower reminds me of the churchtowers in the southern countrys in europe.
