Hello Ghia lovers! :)
Sorry, but this can't be found in forum.
I got problems with wiring harness :(. It's '67-'68 Ghia.
First - my turn lights works OK, emergency too! How should behave turn signal indicator? When you switch turn signal does indicator must flash with relay sound (click-click), or flash just once?
When i connect turn signal indicator cable to KBL pin of relay (as per wiring diagram)I have no indicator at all. When emergency lights are on still no indicator. Bad relay? But when blue-green cable for turn signal indicator lamp is connected to 49a I have turn signal indicator working OK (blink with emergency lights and with turn signal)

I've tried to compare with friends car, same relay.This test is in his car, with his relay!
When blue-green cable for turn signal indicator lamp is connected to KBL pin of relay I got just one blink when switch turn signal.
When emergency lights are on:

1. If ignition is off -> I have no turn signal indicator at all (emergency switch bulb blink).

2. If ignition is on -> I have turn signal indicator, it's blink (emergency switch bulb blink too).

3. Turn lights works OK in both cases.

I've tried my relay in his car, with correct wiring per wiring diagram - no indicator at all.

Then tried his relay in my car, with correct wiring per wiring diagram - no indicator at all. Turn lights works.

Is that a normal behavior of turn signal indicator lamp?
What is the purpose of KBL pin, when you can use pin 49a instead?
I'm not sure that friend's car turn signal indicator must behave like I explained.

This type flasher was KNOWN to be a real problem ! Get yerself a regular 69 and up small relay, and wire accordingly. Those 67-68 relays suck and are expensive. Check with KGP & R, they should have yer part, AND a schematic on how to wire it. Hope this helps.
