Has anyone out there ever tried a front spoiler on their Ghia. I would like to know if and how this may affect cooling since the hot air from the motor is supposed to be pulled away from the motor/car by the airstream flowing underneath the vehicle. Any input appreciated. Thanx !

I have thought about building a front air dam for mine for when I autocross. I was planning on some vent s for front brakes but have not gotten to the point of building it. The only way to know if it will over heat the motor is to use oil temp and cyl head temp gauges. I have seen pics of them on race Ghias but never seen one in person.

I sawa front spoiler on a ghia in a junk yard once. It was hand made and looked great. And I wouldn't worry about the engine, air finds it's way under the car.
