I have my rear drum brakes pulled apart and I have noticed that the connecting links inbetween the shoes are an identical part.
Question is should these be left and right handed?
The spring that pulls the shoes in is clipped into the recess on this link but one of mine was the other way around with the spring clipped to the convex side of the recess.
If this is wrong (not that it doesn't work) then does somebody have a spare to sell?
Also I am assuming that the emergency brake lever slots into the deeper part of the end slot?

| You are correct, the E-brake lever goes into the larger end of the slot. |

No, there is not right and left.
ON one side the bulge is up, on the other the bulge is down. |
