Great site, Long time lurker, this is my first post:
I have a 77 fi beetle convertible and need a replacement cold start valve, however they aren't made anymore. Does anyone know if there is any other bosch valves that will work (i.e. a 1977 bmw bosch cold start valve for example)? I tried using the t-shaped one for the bus but it will not fit.
Any other thoughts on a work around?

Look in the classifieds for a good used cold start valve. If there's none on offer, place a wanted ad.
