If it did indeed come from a mid 70's Passat, it is really rare! Passats were not built yet.

yes, they were. The mid 70's Passat was called a Dasher in the USA. Ray

That dash looks familiar  That particular Superior 500 wheel will fit 1960-72 VWs (Beetle, Ghia, Type 3) with no modifications. The wheel itself is fairly cheap, I picked that one up for $20 a few years ago.
The horn push was more difficult & more expensive. Superior 500 wheels usually came with a $10 Chrome button. If you want a buttonlike that, expect to pay $50+ but the hard part is locating one

i have a wooden "Superior 500" in my squareback right now. It is held to a VW splined hub with 3 bolts.

Here is a photo of the Superior Wheel Adapter needed for the Superior 500 Wheel to fit Volkswagen Models, as stated they are very "Hard to Find", I'm looking for one also. I know someone has one in their showcase, "their not using."
If anyone knows the Superior Part # it would be much appreciated !

I have one with the wooden rim hanging in my garage... it needs to be restored, if anyone is interested...

In a pinch, the Superior 500 wheels bolt up to a modern Grant wheel adapters which can be found at your local auto parts store (Kragen, Pep Boys, etc..) for about $15

Check you PM

I also have an old superior wheel w/ wood rim, that I'll probably restore. I have the vw hub and everything, so why not, eh? Although, IIRC, mine has slots, not the triple hole in the spokes. I'll have to double check.

Edit: Just looked at the pic of the link to the hub and parts. I think I have all of those parts, except I have the cheap chrome horn button as mentioned before.
