My problem...I snapped off the cargo door handle on my '66 Westy. Looking for the proper replacement. My part number is 221 841 631 E/F.
Can't find but one with the E/F after the number (and he wants an arm and a leg for it). Lots of ones with a different single letters after the number.
Soooo, my question is...does it need to have the E/F to fit right? What do the letters denote?
BTW, The key code starts with a "T"
Thanks for any help, 'ppreciate it. |

It's important.
The letter is a suffix and means the part is different. |

for some things it's important but i hardly think there's much difference in a 66 cargo door handle, except to the people who feel they need the exact original colour code of black for the engine tin. |

| I've got an E/F somewhere. You would probably want to rechrome if it is not a daily driver. |

| as far as i know(which isnt shit) it denotes the years in which they were used. e/f i think were 64-66 and h is 67 also on mechanisms and other parts "H" seems to be 67. i think "c" are 58-63 please wait for someone who has done this longer to chime in as im only a rookie punk. |
