Here's da low down: Got a 63 DD camper bus. looking for input on a solid engine/trans combo with reduction boxes. Not wanting to race, just power when needed. How much power is to much for reduction boxes?
It's stock, got big nut, 205/75 R15. Trying to stay stock height for campin. considering different tire sizes and rims (1 set for camping, 1 for cruzin)
Be nice if: cruise 65-70 mph, not luggish with weight (camping, towing, cruzin with da family)
Searched samba, not to many running high performance engine with reduction boxes.
Callin fellow bus members, please chime in with your combo and experience.
