wide and tall tires....and lowered bus............I have a scissor jack but it is a real pain. I think if I had a scissor jack with a swivel head so I could position the jack correctly that would be easier but do any of you have a good solution?

thanks

This is a dilema all of us lowered bus people have to deal with. I use the stock piston jack that came with my silverado. I place the jack between the body and the axle. I've never noticed any kind of damage anywhere.

I use a floor jack handle itself and place it between the spring plate and the housing and lean on it or have someone else push down on it.

Or you could just unbolt the axle tube from the spring plate and pull the drum, tire and all towards the rear... I have long axles, offset spring plates, and 225/50/r15's, it's the most tire that I could fit in there without having to deal with this crap. :? Have fun!
