wide and tall tires....and lowered bus............I have a scissor jack but it is a real pain. I think if I had a scissor jack with a swivel head so I could position the jack correctly that would be easier but do any of you have a good solution?
thanks |

| This is a dilema all of us lowered bus people have to deal with. I use the stock piston jack that came with my silverado. I place the jack between the body and the axle. I've never noticed any kind of damage anywhere. |

| I use a floor jack handle itself and place it between the spring plate and the housing and lean on it or have someone else push down on it. |

| Or you could just unbolt the axle tube from the spring plate and pull the drum, tire and all towards the rear... I have long axles, offset spring plates, and 225/50/r15's, it's the most tire that I could fit in there without having to deal with this crap. :? Have fun! |
