| Does it have a fuel float hole in it? Center of tank top. |

| I too have a '61. This is a one off year that has a odd ball tank. I would find it hard to believe that it is a aftermarket unless it is in like new condition. '61 did not have a fuel guage. There is a reserve control on the bottom of the tank that feeds a shaft through the firewall. |

Oh I know it...just rarely show it :D
Ok ..back on track.... Dont let the outside rust scare you. Ive had tanks that looked like crap, but inside were very clean. Of course Ive had more the other way around too. |

| deff a stock tank. early 60's and late 50's tanks are made out of really thick metal. the only reason that they would have been changed out was if the car was crumpled in the front.. - my 2 cents |
