| guys i was thinking in changing my ignition switch. to the old school old. the one that is isolated from the steering column. how could i do that..... I have a 74 beelte type 1....... |

| With a little fab work anything is possible, but what would you do about your steering wheel plastic since you'll still have the hole where the old cylinder use to be??? |

If you trace the wires from a stock schematic, you can buy a universal switch and move the wires over to it. Do a search in the off road gallery section for the diagram of the switch and connections.
You will just need a place to mount it and the hole can be filled with filling and then Pro Poxy or JB weld, or make a custom plate so in case you want to ever use it again you can. |
