hey i wanna get my buzzer working but i dont wanna have to buy a whole new unit so i just need to know what wires control the buzzer so i can wire in an external buzzer

it runs off of the wiring for the driver side door switch for mine
and mine is a 71'
look at the correct wiring diagram and you should be able to figure it out
and its a KEY buzzer Not a Door Buzzer
it only works if your key is in and you open the driver door
its basically so you dont lock your keys in your car
and MAN im i glad mine works
Altho i have thought about getting a more modern one for a better sound
than a Dying cat....ha
maybe a 70's chevy one or something |

No, 69 did not have one.
Your ignition switch does not have the contacts in it to make the buzzer work. |

look under your dash for a small silver box with 2 prongs
it has a prong on the back so it just slips into a hole in the body to hold it in
Its Not Bolted in
its the small one on the right
but 69 didnt have this kind of fuse box
so you looking for it behind the fusebox on the body
if your key is in and your door is open and you dont hear it
check the door switch and the buzzer itself
