| Hey everyone. My 74 standard with a 34 pict 3 idles fine until the choke opens. Then it die every time I let it idle. Any thoughts will help! Thanks! |

| Need to check the jets on the right side of the carburator. Take an 8 mm wrench to remove then blow throw the jets with carburator cleaner. It wouls not hurt to get your self some bug me videos this will really help you out. |

| if all the jets are clean and everything is put back together make sure your idle jet, which is the jet underneath the choke isn't screwed all the way in. It needs to be backed out just a bit also you will need to thread lock it. I had the same problem on my 74 standard. |
