I have been scanning the local CL for used wheels from Audi, VW, Mercedes, anything that might have the same lug pattern. Which would fit? Really all I want are steel wheels larger that 14". I'm not looking to be showy. I just want a larger range of tires.

The reality is that there are precious few 15" tires for a bus. Not only do they have to fit in the rear without rubbing, they cannot gear you up to much or you will toast your heads.

I understand. And I'm not trying to be anti stock here, but I would like some steel jetta wheels or something.

Tires would too lame of course.

The center hub of the wheel would have to be clearenced to accept the front wheel bearing caps and the lugs would need to be able to accept 14 mm studs.

If you do a few searches "wheel custom" wheel 15 inch" wheel alloy" etc you will find some threads. As to ones that fit try "wheel paint" and you may see some very nice stock ones that have been done quite custom. There are two major advantages to this. They fit and you already own them. The question has been addressed many times and frequently gets locked.

Yes, I have been all over Ratwells site, but its been a long time.

A real hummer wagon wheel. Interesting. Well if there is ever a tire shortage that guy would be set.
