just got the engine in and running pretty good. this is my first bug a 73 super but a few problems.
1. canister under right fender....but ... aftermarket air filter with hookup for hose and a head with crankcase vent.. doghouse has hookup also. How would you route all this to function properly for crankcase relief and pull fumes fron canister and tank

Also, alternator light stays on all the time unless you unplug the three prong plug at alternator...any ideas???
it gets dimmer the higher it revs but stays on when ignition is off
thanks
David

red and yellow wire under rear seat is unhooked diagram says goes to 7 which is number on test block. Does this need to be hooked and where to?
the electrical on this thing is drivin' me crazy!!!

Air from dog house goes to vapor can, vapor recovery hose goes over to, i think, ported vacuum, oil breather hose also goes to ported vacuum. It's not too hard to just screw in fittings to aftermarket housings.

Top of cannister goes to the fan shroud.
Bottom of cannister: small fitting goes to plastic hose/metal hose running to front of car. Large fitting goes to air filter.

what about the head, don't you need to releive crankcase pressure
