| Quick question how do you remove the dash grills i have searched also bentley doesnt say?Im trying to install my gauges this weekend and cant figure them out!(74 standard) |

| just twist the metal tabs holding it in on the backside of the dash. There are 4 on each one. |

| if you looking under the hood they will have this rubber coating type crap on them. Just take pliers and grab and twist easy till the line up with the holes in the dash and they push right out. you put them back in the same way just in reverse really easy |

As I remember from previous posts on gauges, your gauge(s) should tell the diameter to make the hole.
Use a (good) hole saw on a drill. Make a small pilot hole for the pilot bit first, then use the hole saw with a pilot bit to make cut-out for the gauge.
Start at a fairly low speed until the saw starts biting into the grille...then
make the cut. |

I just drew circles and used tin snips on my dash grilles for my gauges, don't believe those aftermarket gauge panels were available back then. See photo.
