Here is a few Pic of my car i pulled out of the junk yard 3 months ago. It is 95% rust free it looks like at one point some one tryed to Rebuild it into kind of a Hot rod it had a new paint / rubber's all around the car thats what saved it from siting for the last 20+ years also it was siting on a old pull barn that has the roof blown off some years ago but had assfault floor. car is in Super shape for how long it has ben siting. I put all new brake system also had the floors stiped and seald i just wetsand and buffed the car 2 days ago looks lot beter but still need lil more work. the car has a Blown bus motor 1500 why i dont know but i rebuilt a 40hp 1300 for it it rdy to go back in :) should be on the road in next few weeks i hope. I still want to lower it down some Here is some Befor and after Pic tell me what you think
The day i pulled her out of the junk yard
that night with me starting to clean it :)
Cry cuz its happy it has a Home
a few day later when she had time to heat up and get the snow and ice off
Some pic's of the Floors and spot where you would find rust but there's no rust not bad for siting 25+ years
Under the floor's NOT bad at all
New Brakes
The motor when i got it and after the rebuild
Took it out for a spin be for i rebuilt the motor :)
I spent the weekend Buffing and wetsanding it
Thats all i got for now Hope you like it so far :) |

I just love threads like these and it looks like you are happy with the car.
It's funny how it warms a hearth to see a bug being saved from sinking in to the ground.. |

That is great!
That car is incredibly solid as well. What are your plans for the car? Your engine looks pretty good; I like the picture with straight on with the headlights and the snow :) |

You got a gem there for coming out of junk yard!!!!!!!
Seems, from the pics, there were a few to choose from--did you go see that one specific or did you have to root through the lot??
Good car! Have fun! |
