| Ive got a 67 1500sp bug and when i turn over the engine by hand, there comes a spot where it becomes much harder to turn and sometimes even revolves backwards if I let go of the ratchet. Its only at this one spot and I cant seem to find the problem. Its a good daily driver, valves properly adjusted, timing set, just everything up to spec. I need help with this problem and would like the pros to give me some tips. Thanks. |

What's the engine compression like? If you have higher than normal difference between one cylinder and the others, this could be your problem.
Check it out and see. |

| If the engine start and works good, this is normal. |

| I honestly dont know what the compression is since i dont have a tester for it but I do have a buddy that might be able to help. What else might it be if its not the compression?? |
