This is actually a continuation from another post but I wanted to make sure I hit up the whole group with this question. Original post http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=405246&highlight=
Know of anyone that has used either of these distributors? I know a lot of people are against electronic ignition because its not stock and when they go out there is no warning but I like the idea of not having points to worry about. I am thinking that maybe just getting a new distributor might be the way to go. The 039 that I have has a lot of vertical play in the shaft and Im not sure if the others I have will work.
