| It looks good on buses but I haven't seen many beetles (other than late model) with painted bumpers. My bumpers are pretty rusty and I've considered it but wonder how it will look. What do you guys think? Please post pictures if you have any. |

| Volkswagen painted the bumpers and guards on Standard beetles. gray in color. |

I wonder why you don't see many gray bumpers then. I guess a lot of them have been chromed or replaced over the years.
Anybody painted their bumpers white? |

| Man that ride is sweet with the bumpers painted. But I don't think grey would match with alot of car colors and any other color bumper just will ne to much. |

Got tired of wire-brushing rust. Some paint peeled and you can see my rattle-can artistry on the front passenger side of the bumper. Gives it character.
By the way, that's a $600 paint job (just the yellow). I'm impressed how well it's held up for about 3 years, but it is about a 20-footer for overall viewing.
