| Has anyone had to change the fuel lines on a 912E? The lines are plastic and I am restoring a burned 912E and of course the lines are burnt off. I am referring to the lines that go in the tunnel from the tank to the engine compartment. Porsche no longer sells the original plastic lines. I assume I will have to install steel lines. It certainly seems steel lines would be a better choice than plastic. Does anyone have any thoughts on changing these lines? |

Since the 912E is basically a 911 with a Type IV engine, I would think the fuel lines would be the same. Try the Pelican 911 forums:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/
or the 912E forum:

Also, you may want to take a look at this new, 912E-specific website:

Let us know how you make out. |
