Well... I'm out. Burnt up too much vacation. I'll see you guys in August for the Eureka trip.

That sucks Scotty...I was hoping to see that beautiful KCW double cab of yours again.

I hope we have a weekend like the one coming up. Looks to be in the low 90s.

I'm out as well. I really wanted to try to make it but it's just not going to happen.

Looking like there will be a good turnout. No suprise, considering it's FREE!!

rjonas Tue Jul 06, 2010 11:04 am

FREE.....my favorite 4-letter word.

I'm in.

What time will this shin-dig be wrapping up? If it isn't too late in the afternoon I can convince my wife to let me come. :)

68moose Wed Jul 07, 2010 7:55 pm

It should wrap up around 4. But, you are free to leave anytime. This is a very low key show. Cruise in, hang out, cruise home...

Oh yeah, you can swap from your spot if you drive an air cooled car!

For those looking to camp:

$35 closest to show

You are also able to camp in the parking lot. However, just be aware their are many bars in the area and you may get some sauced up people at 2am rockin your bus.

Thanks for the camping links Mark. This is shaping up nice! Had the final meeting last night and it seems that most everyhting is in place. Come one come all! Bring your shade/cover and an ice chest, swap from your spot, lets show Tulsa some VWs!

I hope you guys have a GREAT show. Wish I could be there. I forgot about all the vacation time it's taking to get #1 son moved into college. That ended up burning a week of vacation.... I just flat ran out

Pop a top for me :D

I'll see y'all in August.

one percenter Thu Jul 08, 2010 2:51 pm

We'll miss you Scotty but Eureka isn't that far off. Bring that Porsche up with you in August and I'll drive it to Arkansas :D :D :D

68moose Fri Jul 09, 2010 8:32 am

Tomorrow is the big day, we are getting more and more notices about people coming from all over the 4 state area. Should be a great turnout. Weather will be good also!

Come check it out or cruise in and park for the day.

Remember its free!!!

Ghia70 Fri Jul 09, 2010 9:17 am

Hi anyone know if there is something going on tongith for the show? I saw something on the flier about meeting at the show site around five to hang out.

DeadEndVW Fri Jul 09, 2010 11:13 am

We weren't able to secure the parking lot, due to the lot needing to be used for parking for the local establishments. Send a pm or call the contact #s for info.
