| I recently aquired a 1980 porsche 911 sc clean title florida car with 80,000 miles on it, it has a rear wide body kit on it but has wide trailing arms and daul torsions on both sides. Is anyone familiar with this?, and it has really wide fuch wheels fronts look to be 8inches wide the rear 10 to 12 inches wide, ill know more when i dismount the tires, what do i need to look for to see if they are original and not knock offs? the car has alot of aftermarket porsche stuff on it and looks to be all original aftermarket stuff with all the porsche logos and part numbers, Im just gonna strip the car sell all the parts just wondering what i should look for? btw the car has no motor or transaxle but basically everything from the b pillar forward is in really great condition even the interior is an 8.5-9 out of 10 |

15 or 16"?
wide Fuchs came in 8, 9, & 11" for 15s, and 8 & 9x16". Any other size you may have are not genuine Fuchs. |

Ok number stamped in front wheels are
911361020 and a 44 in a box
as 1062 and a t in a box
rears seem wider but will have to remove the wheels to find out will update.
so are they real and how much are they worth? |

That's only on early Fuchs. After about Mar 71, Fuchs got a 911 part number. |

911.361.020.44 (early, 77-84)
7x16
23.3mm offset (911)
112mm back space
If the others are wider they are probably 8's. Look for this part # for a 911 wheel: 911.361.020.45 or this one if it's a 944 wheel: 951.362.117.00 |

| If you have original Fuchs in RSR/IROC widths (15x11") they are worth $2k per wheel in good condition. |

| I have a set of original 15 X 6 Fuchs and two of them have a hair line crack from a lug hole and going up into the rim an 1" to 1.5". I want to have the cracks welded, but do not know what to tell the welder they are made of. I see discussions where they are referred to as alloy? What is alloy? Putting them on my '66 912 to replace a set of cookie cutters. |
