:-k Yes, That is a '56-'58 Palm green/ Sand green U.S. model Standard Microbus. I could narrow down the year even further, if you have a picture of the back end.

Come on Jay and Dave- If that is the same Bus with the rear shot with the kids, it's a post March 1957 thru 1958. I mean, if we are gonna get all "Greg Noble" about it...

Sorry, I wish it was the same bus. The license plate is the wrong one. The bus was last seen in El Paso, Texas around 1962ish...[/quote]

I agree with Dave....the mirror arms give it away as a '58.
I have never seen a 56-57 bus with a short mirror arm like that. |

Yes, I could barely make out the plate with a bit of help from photosuite. I've got an email into the Texas DOT. Hopefully, they can tell me more information. I looked at vintage plates on ebay and it look a lot like 1958 Texas plates. My Grandpa brought the bus over from Germany in '58 where he bought it new. No one can rememer if he bought it in '57 or '58. He's got Alzhiemers pretty bad...no point in asking him. You'd think that out of the 8 aunts and uncles I have one of them would remeber.

OK, OK, you guys are right, I'm probably wrong. Good work Dave and it looks like "Campingbox" is getting all "Greg Noble" about it too. I guess that makes sense being as, well, it's Greg Noble! I don't know anything about Buses, spread the word... =D>
