because of no photoshop, design or paintings concerning beetles and co. thread, i post it here;

i transformed an already very cool looking beetle with the help of photoshop/photofiltre into another cool looking ride.

here is the pic in the beginning: i removed additionalö things like the pump on the right, the roof rack, the ragtop, the b-pillar, the front pop out and the rear pop out window.

a top chop and 4 inch longer doors made it a two door hardtop coupé:

i was thinking about a cool 4 seater version too, so i lengthened the body and gave the car additional two suicide doors in the rear. the rear hood was smoothed back to it´s oriinal position. so, here it is:

I kinda like that one. With the truck, maybe slant the rear of the bed like a nomad 8) to match the other lines of it.

Yea, I can imagine a little parcel shelf over the engine and behind the rear seat, like in the type 2. This would also probably take a nice type 3 full length roof rack.

here are some more pics about cars i manipulated by using photofiltre, a simple graphic tool.

here are two pics of a vw type 3 fastback, first one is original, second one is a business coupé version with longer doors, no more b pillar, but instead of it a chrome frame for the side window glass, windshield angle is lower as well the rear c pillar section, no more front pop out window.

@jmsmilin: everything is possible, but in this case not that easy! you must have the skills in bodywork.
when the time has come (when i will have finished my baja bug), i´ll show you how to do it.

after having bought a karmann ghia coupé from 1971, i was thinking about creating a break version of it, that never existed in reality.

see my blog to this on www.karmann-coupe.blog.de

another new blog i created is www.fakevolkswagen.blog.de

on this blog i´ll post every week at least one fake aircooled volkswagen, basing on original newspaper ads or pics i found on the internet that i transformed into versions, that never existed in the past, but might have been driven over german streets in the fifties and sixties!
feel free to visit my pages!

I like this very much. The truck is nice, too. The gears are churning inside my head.
