I bought a 1964 ELectric Beeatle at an auction. I want to know if anyone has any info or knows anything aboutit. There are some decals on the side " THE SCHULZE
SX1-4VW"

I have heard some rumors it was a college project. I also heard it was built on a grant from Coors Beer Corporation. Can anyone help me. Is anyone interested in this or know what it is worth???

I for one would love a complete description..

Voltage of the sytem (how many batteries connected to the main motor) - there is probably an auxillary 12v battery for the lights and such too.

Where are the batteries located (behind the back seat - in the front where the fuel tank was etc etc?

The rating of the motor itself, range on each charge, rechargin time and that sort of thing.

Pics would be nice :-)

There are some electric vehicle newsgroups on the web - just do a google search for "EV", "battery car" "electric car" and similar terms and you see heaps of sites.

i got my buddy oldveedubs back. he's against war in iraq and boys who are afraid to tell what their cars cost when they mention buying them. what's that about, you BAPTIST! hehe anyway, why would you buy something and not know what it is?
