| I have a 70 Auto stick standard beetle. I changed the generator, coil, wires, plugs, and a few wires in the trunk, and my generator light still comes on if I am running my headlights. New battery too, took it back twice for a replacement, because I thought it was bad. What else could be causing this? It is driving me nuts. |

| do your idiot lights work properly? turn the key and both lights come on? start the car and they both go out? is this a recent problem that just started up? im sure this isnt it but is one of the dash lights plugged into the charging idiot light hole? (i know thats silly but hey, you never know) |

| Started last summer, so I started replacing everything. I double checked everything. The generator light only comes on when the headlights come on, and I am idling or moving at a low rpm. |
