A few days a? I don't know... I'll definately let you drool on it for a few minutes while it's on your car. Then you can take pictures and drool on those. Like Taylor does... |

Or, if we both were in San Diego, let you borrow mine.
Really though, are you going to actually use it? If it is for looks, save the $500 and use it for something else, or put it in your emergency fund, which you of course already started; always needed on an older auto. |

Hah, I just saw this. And yeah, I look at the pictures from time to time, Im still thinking about it.
From selling my seats and og rack, plus other odds and ends, I should have a budget of about $700 to play with. So I need to decide...rack or wheels...or.....?
Still cant find any plates I like. |

i will once its done. which is going to be later than expected.

hard to tell since i have not had a working odometer till about a week ago. not including the drive back from porterville, i'd approximate no more than 300 miles. |

| Have you changed the oil? Did Pete say mention adjusting the valves or oil changes? I only ask because they are important. |

updates!
Pedro finished my full-length roofrack and it looks awesome. Took the car out for a spin and a wash. I'll snap some better pictures of it later tonight. Also got a pair of new Nankang 135s for the front.
Going to vaccum the inside today and do some other cleaning under the seat and in the engine compartment and front trunk. Here's a pic until i take some better ones.

welp, found some fun loose ends to tie up. need to first address the gas overflow hose problem. the PO had plugged the overflow line, and now its far too hard and brittle to connect to the bung on the gas filler neck. i've got a kit on the way from Jim Adney to help solve things permanently.
here's a pic:
in other news, the weather has been great and is supposed to be amazing this weekend. anybody in for a cruise? |
