I'm a real hater when it comes to cross-bar linkage.
Maybe you could use some of the OG dual-Solex linkage?
Or Berg?
Or CSP?
Anything is better than cross-bar.
or, god forbid, hex-bar.
That stuff is just hexed.... |

Interesting, the hex bar combined with the air-cleaner bases from CB perf has worked dreams for me...

I'm glad you got it running. I was dealing with a set of IDF's as well. I took this advice

Well... sadly it is time to say goodbye to my Type 3. I've found an awesome buyer from Canada who is going to take awesome care of the car and treat it nice. I'm not getting out of VWs completely though, I'm selling my square to buy a 68 Sundial Camper :D It has been a fun ride and I've met a lot of awesome people and made some good friends, whether they be T3 owners or not.
I'm hoping to be able to make it out to more meets and G2Gs soon. Life has been hectic and I've had a few curveballs thrown my way recently, but things are starting to settle down so I'm looking forward to making it out in the new bus very soon. |

Don't worry we'll keep an eye on him

You know it! He's an awesome guy, I'm glad I can help him realize his road-trip dream. In return he is helping me with my Bay Window Camper dream so it works out perfectly for both parties. |

| Looks like he will be driving north on I-5 to Weed, then north on Hwy 97. If so, he will be passing through Redding, which is close to me if he needs anything along the way. |
