My friend is in need of a 050 Bosch distributor and is having difficulties finding one for sale. Does anybody know of a place selling/someone where he can purchase one ASAP?

They show up on e bay and Samba every so often in the $100 range. I've never seen one NOS or rebuilt.
If I may suggest. Get a hold of Glen Ring who posts here all the time and buy a real Porsche distributor. Spent the big bucks and only cry once.
You'll have a distributor that will last the rest of your life, provided you don't plan on living more than another 50 years or so. :) JMHO of course.
