The fact is...all of our v-dubs are good enough for an article in the magazine. Each one with it's own rich history and personal stories. That's why I love The Samba, All of us can have our own articles!

I read your letter this morning. Very cool story, I love the history behind some of these cars. I hope you enjoy driving it as much as she did.

Thanks man. One thing I didn't mention to Hot VW's is that in my elementary school yearbook, there is a couple of pages of pictures back to back. On one leaf there's me in about 3-4th grade, on the facing page there is a photo of some other kids with the bug in the background. Love it!

Do you recall in the article I mentioned that I included a letter outlining the history of how I got to the bug? Send me your email and I can email you that letter if you'd like, just for kicks :)

I went to Hot Vws website to try and order the issue Dec 2010 shown in the above link for the Bug A Fair story. On the hot vw back issue page they show a different cover and stories. If anyone has the issue in the link above could you scan the Bug a Fair article and the show results if the can? Would buy the issue if you want to sell your copy.
