Thanks!
I'm close to start to make the rear floor. I'm excited because after that, need to make the front floor, some work on nose, doglegs, and almost done!

I got a question, i'm working with Glasurit paint so, what is the best process for paint the chassis?

Also, winter is coming soon, and humidity is usual in this area, so i will get some fillers to put in all places i already fixed, i think that will avoid rust come up in bare metal. Do you think i'm right? is better spray some primer over filler?

I would use a sandable primer, most primer is and put over any bare metal. When weather is better, or its time to start the final paint, you won't have to worry about surface rust. But remember primer is only temporary and it needs to be sealed or rust will form UNDER the primer.
Good luck and stay after it.

Thanks for help, the gray you see is glasurit primer 2k. Under primer i sprayed 2 coats of glasurit anti rust 2k. I think i'm going to get another can of primer and spray on bare metal. When i get all ready to paint, sand all bus again, clean, fill, spray anti rust again, primer and so on.

Thanks!

Hello everybody!
I'm very close to buy both doglegs! :) I want to ask you if the ones on cip1.com are good. I think i'm going to get them this month, and also will be making the rear floor while waiting for shipment arrives.
Step by step!

More pictures soon, thank you very much!

"making the rear floor".....yike....if it turns out like the rocker, it will be nice. Great job so far.

Thank you! do you know if the doglegs from cip1 are good? I can't afford buy both, and after a shipment of hundreds kilometers figure that the parts don't fit.
Thank you very much.

widehatch Mon May 09, 2011 2:08 pm

have you tired Klassic Fab? you might be able to get the doglegs shipped from Columbia were they are made. no shipping from north america to south america.
