I've got a 73 beetle that doesn't like the cold weather. Its indicators often refuse to work, sometimes starting after a few minutes of running the car, but often not for much longer. The work fine when the weather's warm!
Has anyone heard of this before, or does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

Have you changed the relay yet... or swapped it with another just to see what happens???
The circuit also runs through the Hazard switch... when the blinkers are refusing to work what happens when you pull the hazards on? do they work then?????
Tryed cleaning the fuse box.... take all the fuses out and lightly sand/clean the contacts with some sandpaper and WD-40 or other... I would start with that kind of stuff then move on to badd connections or worn out signal switch... good luck! |
