Small update;
Fitted the fenders which came with the car but they're crap... So after looking for some time I found a pair of original fenders in the UK for a good price with some slight work... So last Friday we went over to the UK to pick them up :) And voila... More pictures from the repairwork later this week... :wink:

Wow awesome!
No more oxide red, I am sure that you MISS it very much :)

So I guess filler and final prep is next. So you think you will put on color before the end of summer?

Hahaa, when I start missing it I just look the other side where my split is standing and immidiatly I have the feeling back! :twisted:

Yes, it ready now for the final preparations... But I'm afraid it will take a bit longer... :oops: we're moving to our new home in 1.5 week so some work needs to be done there as well + in July I'll have an surgery on my shoulder (which will take me about 6 month to recover from completely ... says the doctor 8) ) So I'm hoping to have it painted by next summer... I think that's a good time frame :)

Some small repairworl already done on the front fender and I mounted the pan on to the body to check if all the nuts were in the correct place! 1 small change needed but that's just 10mn of work :wink:
