Looks like the parts of mine that I hit with the wire wheel. But the mag tarnishes super fast. Did you spray something on there to protect it, or are you planning on painting it? |

I'm just using some basic tools. most of all just hamer and dolley/sandbag but sometimes also the english wheel and shrinker or stretcher! :wink: |

sanding and some polishing.. nothing fancy at all. to finish of some clear varnish to keep it that way ;-) now lets wait and see what this will look like in 1à years :lol: |

Thanks, probably around Mai next year... That's the goal... :) We're moving into our new home at that time as well and then I could move the oval to his new homs as well after painting! :wink: |

some extra pictures of last weeks work and some of todays progress!
a complete pic of all progress being made last Saturday;
the old sheet;
and to create the new piece we use this new tool! it work great! really happy that I bought this!
old >< new , pretty OK not? :wink:
another new toy... 8) :lol: it was already on my list for a long time... now it's just 1 thing left but it can wait since it is not needed for any special things right away (bead roller :wink: )
...back to work... :wink:

some progress of this weeks works that have been done;
replaced the heater channel partially. and now I'm starting on the rear.

some progress of today and last saturday... didn't work out like it should but OK we made some progress so I'm happy ;-)
made some sheet for the side of the "trunckpanel" (don't know the english name for it :-D)
a small hole... 8)
the sheet goes in...
starting on the sheet for the inner fender;
and some shaping with the english wheel...
fitting is almost OK, needs just a litlle bit of work;
that's all for now! |
