Could someone with a 1600dp measure the distance between the inside of their main pulley and the timing mark on the case?
My pulley's are WAY out of alignment and I'm getting a strange banging noise at low rpms, and I figure it could be caused by the main pulley not being on properly. |

| Make sure the bottom pulley nut is tight ,then push the pulley in towards the motor, then pull it back towards you. If there is a noticable amount of movement (more than 2 to 3 thousands of an inch)then it is time to rebuild before it grenades. Good luck. |
