| i have a 2110 cc engine that holds good oil pressure i have a VDO gauge wth an electrical sender my problem is when i run up my rpms sometimes my gauge goes down to nothing!!! stays that way for far longer than it should!!i dont really think im losing pressure, as i havnt smoked my motor or experienced any lower pressure readings after it comes back. some times if i lightly hit the gas it seems to bring it back any advice would be greatly appreciated |

Hmm...
what kind of oil pump are you running and is it connecting with the cam all the way? how old is the engine i mean is this a new rebuild? maybe with the larger engine the cam gear adn oil gear are slipping, easy enough to pull the oil pump and look....
