What can I treat bare metal with after stripping until I'm ready to prime. I stripped my hood last night and it already has surface rust.

jay ,
i would not try to let it sit for very long , like over night , the moisture gets to it , they have a rust kill spray you can find it might help , i would just try to prime it before you let it sit, wait tell a fairly warm day and strip it and then prime all at the same time . |
