| How tight should the clutch cable be? How do you know when it is just the right tightness? |

| You should adjust the clutch. make sure that there is 1 - 2 inches of free-play. If you cant get it adjusted and it's less than that, first try getting a new cable. If that doesn't work, you prbably need a new clutch. When you replace the clutch yourself, or have it done, make sure they install a clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. It's better to do all 3 while it's apart. |
